SATURDAY FEBRUARY 14 PERFORMANCE: Rocio Boliver and and Thibault Delferière: The Sea Anemone and the Hermit Crab 8PM
A performance art icon comes to Los Angeles for the first time! Capstone event for The Limits of Performance (see above). Boliver's work explores and pushes against the traditions, the regimes of thought that would control the female body. Rocio Boliver's performance of "The Sea Anemone and the Hermit Crab" is from the series Between Menopause and Old Age. We are pleased to welcome Thibault Delferière, a painter and performance artists form Belgium—this is his first performance in the US; this is Boliver and Delferière's third international collaboration.
